EXTENSION NEXT WEEK ;<P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 15. The Minister of Broadcasting, Mr F. Jones, states that in response to requests it has been decided to extend the weather broadcasts. From December 22 the main national stations will broadcast at 9 a.m. a repetition of the weather forecast given at 7.15 a.m. In the event of a sudden change in weather conditions a new forecast will be prepared. The Minister stated that the 9 a.m. boadcast would fill a long-felt need for those unable to hear the 7.15 a.m. broadcast.
