ENGLISH MIGRANT TO N.Z. "A JOB BUT NO HOUSE” LONDON, Sept, 25. Reuter says that Mr Leslie Chipperfield, aged 24, a marine engineer, who spent £6OO in taking his wife and 10-year-old son to New Zealand in March returned in the Waiwcra He got a job but no house. “My advice to people thinking of emigrating to New Zealand is not to go unless they have somewhere to live before they get there,” he said. “Small houses cost £2OOO. It is impossible to find a house to rent. I have spent all my savings and will have to begin all over again.
