U.S. WOOL TAX CUT
NEW OFFER FORECAST (11.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 10. The New York Times correspondent in London says a final agreement in Geneva on the reduction ot the 25 per cent, in the 1 United States duty on raw wool was foreeast today by quarters close to the American and Australian delegates to the international trade conference.
The United States is reported to have made a reduction offer which has been referred to the Governin'n(s concerned.
“the Military Alliance.” told the court which is hearing charges against Nicola Petkov, Bulgarian Opposition leader, that his organisation had planned to cause civil war in order to bring foreign occupation and a change of regime.
Other members of the Military Alliance testified that the organisation was in direct contact with and considered itself the advance guard of Petkov’s Agrarian Party. Petkov is charged with preparing armed revolt and inciting senior army officers to form an anti-Governmenl military conspiracy.
