SENTENCED TO DEATH
TWO CZECH TRAITORS PRAGUE, April 29. A people’s court sentenced to death by hanging Karel Curda and William Gcrik, former Czech soldiers, for giving information to the Germans about the British and Czech armies. They were parachuted into Czechoslovakia in 1942 to assassinate Reinhardt Heydrich, and allegedly surrendered to the Gestapo.
