TRANSFER PERIOD
BUTTER REGISTRATIONS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aril 26. It was announced by the food rationing controller, Mr. Costelloe, yesterday, that an "open” period for the transfer of butter registrations would be a fortnight from April 28 to May 10 inclusive. During these two weeks any consumer may transfer his butter registration from his present retailer to a retailer of his choice. M. Costelloe said the declaration of the ‘ open” period was in accordance with the usual practice of allowing consumers to change their retailers every six months
