DANISH KING’S DEATH (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 26. T have received your official intimation of the death of His Majesty King Christian of Denmark with deep regret and have the honour to convey to you the sincere sympathy of the New Zealand Government and people on the occasion of this sad bereavement,” stated the Prime Minister, Mr. P. Fraser, in a letter to the ConsulGeneral of Denmark, Mr. K< I. Esklund. ‘‘We associate ourselves with the Danish people in this time of mourning and desire to pay a tribute to the memory of your beloved monarch, whose death is indeed a grevious loss.”
