Congratulations to Mr. D. W. Coleman, M.P.. on his recent appointment as Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Works were tendered to the district member by Mr. IT. 11. De Costa at yesterday’s annual meeting of the Citizens Defence Committee. Mr. De Costa said that. Mr. Coleman would have the good wishes of all present in the additional rcsponsibilly he had undertaken. At a later stage in the meeting, when the original composition of the committee was under discussion. Mr. Coleman men tinned that, lie had been a member continuously from its inception during 'he early stages of Ihe 1014-18 war. Mr. Ho Costa \vas able also to claim continuous uv'mborship over the same noriorl as Mr Colomnn
