SHIPBUILDING BOOM
BRITISH YARDS FILLED LONDON, April 22. Reviewing Lloyd’s shipbuilding figures, the Daily Express says the United Kingdom is building more than half the total which the world is building. There arc 456 merchant ships on the slipways or in the fitting-out basins on the Tyne, Clyde, and at Belfast Lough. The export demand is five times as great as a year ago.
