BLAST IN FRANCE
ROCKET_ BOMB NOT BRITISH MISSILE EMBASSY'S ASSURANCE (TO a.m.) PARIS, April 23. Reports have reached Paris from Treyes that a bomb like a VI dived into the ground and exploded shaking the countryside for several miles around. It was thought it might have been an experimental bomb from England, but the British Embassy spokesman said that this was unlikely because the British experimental projectiles were directed exclusively over the North Sea.
