BENGAL PARTITION
HINDUS UNANIMOUS “ONLY SOLUTION METHOD” NEW DELHI, April 22. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. leader of the Orthodox Hindu Organisation, urged at a public meeting the immediate acceptance of the principle of partition of Bengal. He said opinion was practically unanimous among Hindus, including certain castes and other minorities, that Bengal must be divided into Hindu and Moslem areas, both to end communal strife and to develop the two major communities.
