DELHI FIRE PANIC MANY PERSONS DROWNED TRAGEDY AT FESTIVAL (10 a.m.) NEW DELHI, April 23. Ten pilgrims were burned to death, many others were drowned, and more than 1000 were injured in buildings destroyed by fire when a sirocco fanned a blaze started in a fair-ground near Delhi. The panic-stricken pilgrims, who were celebrating a Hindu festival, jumped into the river to escape the flames. The current swept many of them away.
