TRIBUTE BY STALIN CHURCHILL’S WAR WORK ADMIRATION REVEALED (11 a.m.) LONDON, April 23. The Chief of the Imperial General Staff, 'Field Marshal Lord Montgomery, unveiling a victory panel of Mr. Churchill at, Darlington, said he had found everywhere a great affection for Britain’s war leader. He shared it. Marshal Stalin had asked him during his recent visit to Moscow: “Don’t you ever see Mr. Churchill these days?” He replied that he did, but not very often. Marshal Stalin said: “I have a great admiration for him, and although sometimes now we do not agree, I still think he is a great leader. I shall never forget what he did in the war.”
