RUSSIAN ZONE HISTORY YOUNG GERMANS' TUITION LONDON, Dec. 19. Two million school children in the Russian zone of Germany have oeen prescribed a diet of undiluted Marxism in their history studies, says the Berlin correspondent of Ihe Associated Press. The set of directives given primary grade teachers declares Marx s and Engel's philosophy and its development in the Soviet Union “is the culmination of progressive democracy.” They refer to the First World War as “the first imperialistic world war, and describe the last war as “a fight against Fascism” as a result of the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union. , The directives say Marx s ana Engel’s “Communist Manifesto must be followed and interpreted as a basis loi Marxist instruction.
