J. FORCE TRAINEES

(P A.) WELLINGTON, March (1. The first men from the Wellington area to enter camp for training as part of J Force left for Papakura last night. They totalled 400 and they were joined by further volunteers from other areas on the journey northwards. Enlistments in the Central Military District total over 1700. The men will be sent to camp at suitable intervals and it is expected that, the next Wellington draft, also totalling about 400, will leave in a fortnight.
