FORTY-THREE CHARGES ‘DEATH MARCH’ RECALLED (9 a.m A TOKIO, Dec. 17. Forty-three charges have been laid against General Homma, who will be arraigned on Wednesday and tried about January-,7. The charges concern the death march on Bataan in which 17,200 died, and also brutalities and executions at the O’Donnel and Cabanatua camps between April and August, 1942, which resulted in the deaths of 4831 Americans and 45,000 Filipinos.
