PARTIES IN GERMANY
CENTRAL BODIES ALLOWED BRITISH ZONE GROUPS (9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 18. The Allied Control Council in Germany announced that German political parties in a British zone have been permitted to form central committees and organise on a zone-wide scale. The Communist, Social Democrat and Democratic parties, which haVe emerged as the most widely representative, have organised central committees. Permission to organise will be granted to any other party which succeeds in acquiring sufficient importance.
