LONDON, Jan. 21. R.A.F. 'Halifaxes, Liberators and Wellingtons carried troops and hundreds of tons of stores and ammunition to Greece from Italy during the fighting, says Reuter’s correspondent in Italy. Liberators were pressed in as temporary troop-carriers and each took 26 or 27 men. One thousand men were carried to Greece by planes in the first day after the request was made for reinforcements.
