U.S. CARRIER PLANES . NEW YORK, Jan. 21. The Tokio radio said that carrierborne planes are heavily attacking Formosa and Okinawa. Several airfields, cities and towns were heavily bombed, but the losses were light. Japanese planes intercepted the raiders; aerial battles are still raging.
