QUOTA EXCEEDED

The Hamilton Bofough Council has received telegraphed advice from the Electricity Controller, Mr. F. T. M. Kissel, that the borough was the first on the list of supply areas to be cut off in the event of the- supply of electricity being unequal to the demand. The Mayor, Mr. H. D. Caro, said the town was consuming 7.78 per cent more current than its quota, with an added 10 per cent provided. He warned consumers not to be surprised ifl electricity was not available m their homes or businesses any evening.
