Appointments find promotions ; in the NeW Zealand armed forces include the following announced in the Gazette:— On active service with the Second NiZ.E.F.—Lieutenant J. A. Pyatt to be captain, dated March 10, Artillery; Captain (temp. Major), G. H. Panckhurst relinquishes the temporary rank of major, dated- April 8, infantry. R.N.Z.A.F.—General Duties Branch: Sergeant Keith Marcel Fleming, granted temporary commission as pilot in llie rank of pilot officer dated April 21; Squadron Leader lan Gordon Morrison to be acting wing commander (gai.d), dated. May 15; Wing Commander (acting Group Captain) Trevor Watts White, E.D., to be group captain (temp.), dated April T Squadron Leader (acting Wing Commander) George Bruce Bolt to be wing commander (temp.), dated April 1. __________
