MR. ROY M. ATTWOO: WELL KNOWN CARRIE. The death of Mr. Roy Maurice Attwood occurred following a sudden, collapse aria'"social-''function KcM- in Gisborne'Vestefclhy '-afternoon. . ! Mr. Attwood was talking with a number ’of others after the close- of the function, when he complained of feeling ill. He sat. on a chair, but shortly afterwards collapsed, and was dead when medical aid arrived. Born iri'Gisborne ill yfearS-ago, Mr. Attwood was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Attwood. He was educated at the Mangapapa School and afterwards joined his father ’ll'Carrying' business, being for 15 ycars'ori Mail contracting work.
