OBITUARY
MR. ROBERT C. WILLIS
Mr. Robert Charles Willis, who died following an accident in Mangapapa on Saturday night, had been a resident of the Gisborne district for nearly 35 years. Born in Victoria. Australia, 59 years ago, Mr. Willis came to New Zealand at the age of 25 years, living first in Ashburton before coining to Gisborne. Working first as a contractor, Mr. Willis later took up a farm property in Valley road, and when he disposed of this 18 months ago he took up another farm in the Matokitoki Valley. Left to mourn their loss are his wife, formerly Miss Florence Coridas, and two sons. Private Colin Willis, with tlie N.Z.E.F.. and M>\ Keith Willis, Gisborne. There are also twoi brothers. Mr. Arthur Willis. Gisborne.} and Mr. Alfred Willis. Australia, and} two sisters in Australia. The inter-' ment took place this afternoon.
