GREEK STARVATION DRUGS FROM U.S.A. (2.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 7. Three Swedish freighters, which were scheduled to sail from Montreal for Greece to-day, carrying food, were also loaded at the last minute with emergency shipments ot etnei and chloroform. .. .. The authorities learned that patients in Greece undergo major surgical operations without anaesthetics. The State Department said tnax reports from Greece revealed that deaths from starvation conditions were appalling and almost beyond belief. _
