OBITUARY
MR. R. A. BAYLIFFE The death occurred in the Napier Hospital on Saturday of Mr. Robert Archibald Baycliffe, husband of Mrs. Helen M. Baycliffe, of 31 Georges drive, Napier, and father of Mrs. M. Knight, Wairoa, and Mrs. FountainBarber. at the age of 88 years. His only son- was killed in .the last wgr. Mr. Baycliffe was formerly very well known in Wairoa, being one of the earlier postmasters for the district. He left Wairoa for Napier several years ago, going into retirement. A grand-daughter is Mrs. Arthur Fyson, Wairoa. The funeral .took place, in Wairoa yesterday, the Rev. J. G: B. Talbot conducting the services both at St. Paul’s Anglican Church and at the graveside.
