INJURED OFFICERS

A.D.C. STILL SERIOUS The condition of Captain H. Whitbread, A.D.C. to General Sir Guy Williams, military adviser to the New Zealand Government, who was severely injured in a motor collision nine miles from Whakatano, on Saturday afternoon, remains unchanged and he was still unconscious in the Whakatane Hospital on Monday night. Lieutenant G. Murray, of the Paeroa area office staff, who was injured in the same accident, is much improved and is now suffering only from cuts and abrasions.
