WIN FOR TARANAKI WANGANUI GOES DOWN (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Lasting out a hard game on u slippery ground, Taranaki Rugby representatives scored a well-deserved win against Wanganui by 11 points to 3 on Saturday. Mud and rain made good football impossible, but a hot pace was maintained throughout. Taranaki scored three tries, one being converted, and Wanganui's score came from a penalty goal. Taranaki beat Wellington by 11 points to 8 in a representative Rugby League match.
