DANISH CRAFT IN U.S. REQUEST FOR AUTHORITY (Reed. April 10. 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, April 9. President Roosevelt stated yesterday that he intended asking Congress for specific authority to take over 39 Danish ships seized in United States ports.
