CARD COMPETITIONS P.B. CLUB PROGRAMME The Poverty Bay Golf Club has arranged card competitions for its members during the Easter holiday period, and members are enabled to enter any of the competitions by presenting themselves at the club-house at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The draw lor Saturday's competition. so far arranged, is as under:— No. 1 Tee—B.so a.m., A. D. Tarr, J. H. Dobbie, and 11. M. Brown; 8.55 a.m.. N. Balfour, E. IT. Dow, and P. L. Singer; 9 a.m., K. W. Bull and T. Corkcry; 9.4 a.m., P. H. Dow, C. O. Hansen, and J. S. Barns-Graham: 9.8 a.m. W. M. Jenkins, W. D. Morley, and' M. Davies; 9.12 a.m., B. Burke. J. L. Broad, and G. E. Law; 9.16 a.m., A. M. Singer, J. McMillan, and W. Bruce. park club competition An L.G.U. medal round will be played on the Gisborne Park Golf Club’s links this week-end by the lady players. Partners are to be arranged at the clubhouse. Last week’s medal round was won by Mrs. L. Williams in the B section, and Miss M. Long in the C section. tokomaeu bay club The annual meeting of the Tokomaru Bay Golf Club was held this week, Mr. J. Todd being in the chair. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr. F. E. Porter; president. Mr. J. Todd; secretary, Mr. IT. S. Short; club captain, Mr. IT. D. Gardner: committee, Messrs. A. P. Orr, R. Jackson, W. L. Britton, J. Bennett, and P. Fairlie; hon. auditor, Mr. R. Jackson.

The official opening day will be on Saturday, April 19, when a mixed foursome, commencing at 1.30 p.m., will be played. Intending members and visitors have been invited to take part in the play.
