SOUTH TYROL VOTE OVER HALF OF GERMANS (Reed. Jan. 5, 9 a.m.) ROME, Jan. 4. An official communique states that 185,000 Germans living in the South Tyrol voted to return to the Reich under the Italo-German repatriation agreement. The communique does not state how many voted to remain. It recently was estimated that 250,000 Germans inhabited the region.
