SUMMERTIME HOURS
START IN FEBRUARY AID IN WAR EFFORT (Reed. Jan. 5, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 4. The Daily Mail says that summer time is expected to operate again in the middle of February. It will be of first-class importance in the national war effort, permitting a greater output from factories. It will also facilitate transport and relieve the stfain on nerves from the long black-out and reduce road deaths.
