BRITISH PLANE DOWN ATTACKED BY GERMANS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Jan. 3. The Air Ministry announced: “An aircraft of the Royal Air Force which was driven over the Belgian frontier, (o-day and forced down was attacked by three enemy fighters while engaged on a reconnaissance flight over Germany.
