FINALLY TONIGHT:'“The Black Arrau}” Commencing Tomorrow: “Yellow Sky,” starring Gregory Peck, Anne Baxter and Richard Widmark. * , • “Yellow Sky,” an action packed new drama commences at the Opera House tomorrow. , , ’ , It unfolds the story of seven desperate outlaws who, forced to take refuge in a ghost town, stumble across a treasure horde of gold and a pretty girl whom they each mark as their personal prize. Tension mounts as Gregory Peck finds himself matched against Widmark for the girl and the gold Out of this situation arises a welter of antagonisms and hatred involving all of the men and resulting in a climactic showdown between Peck and Widmark. Gregory Peck plays the role of “Stretch,” the leader of the desperadoes. Miss Baxter adds to her wide range of roles with the part of “Mike,” the desert-hardened girl who fought for her life and found love. Widmark is “Dude,” the sly and treacherous gunman who attempts to provoke a revolt against Peck’s leadership. Regent Theatre FINALLY TONIGHT: “The Fan” with Jeanne Crain, Madeleine Carroll, George Sanders, Richard Greene. Commencing TdmorroW: “Sand,”' starring Mark Stevens, Coleen Gray, Rory Calhoun. Jubilee a prize show-horse stallion, escapes into the desert when fire breaks out in a train bringing him west and makes his way near a ranch owned by Coleen Gray, who recognises him and notifies the owner Mark Stevens, a wealthy sportsman. Jubilee entices a prize mare owned* by Rory Calhoun, Coleen’s hot-tempered foreman, who shoots .at the stallion but misses _ and kills his own horse. Stevens goes' in search of Jubilee and finds him, but the horse turned wild, refuses to allow his owner near him. Meanwhile Coleen and Stevens fall in love. Calhoun, jealous, attempts to shoot Jubilee but he is prevented from doing so when Stevens engages him in a fight.
