Commonwealth Cricket Team
The Commonwealth cricket team today beat the West Bengal Governors eleven by 10 wickets. West Bengal, was all out for 198 in its second innings. The Commonwealth openers, Parks and Dawkes, made up the deficit by scoring 22 without the kiss of a wicket. Tribe took four wickets for 51 in West Bengal’s second innings. The Commonwealth team made 301 in its first innings against the 122 compiled by Bengali, which batted first— Bombay, December 27.
