DATES FIXED FOR LAND TAX PAYMENT
WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.). —The land tax on land held by taxpayers other, than companies will not be due for payment until January, 1950, said the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, today. ' He said the normal due date was early in October, but that owing to an unavoidable delay in the issue of assessments to taxpayers, other than companies, it was necessary to postpone the due date until January 16, 1950.' The demands will be posted shortly before then. , .? The due date for payment of land tax by companies which were riot postponed, will this year be October 7, and the demands will be issued about September 30,
