SOUTH AFRICA TO RATION PETROL
PRETORIA, Sept. 20 (Rec. 10.45 a.m.) —Petrol will be rationed in South Africa, announced the Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr Eric Louw, tonight. The rationing scheme will be put into effect in about two months. Petrol was one of South Africa’s largest imports last year, totalling more than £10,500,000.
