“Go-slow” Called Off
LONDON, September 20 (Rec. 1.10 p.m.).—The men of the National Union of Railwaymen, Docks Branch, s a-t Southampton, decided tonight to call off the “go-slow” campaign—24 hours after it had begun. Their “work to the rule” and ban on overtime were due to continue for a week. Tonight’s decision was in answer to a'plea by.the union national executive to work normally pending a special delegate conference in London on September 29.
