N.Z. PLANE ARRIVES AT SINGAPORE
SINGAPORE, September 20.—The first Dakota of 41 Squadron of the R.N.Z.A.F., which is to help in the Singapore-Hong Kong air-lift, landed at Singapore today. Four more Dakotas are due at approximately two day intervals. The aircraft,, which carried 16 of a crew, and passengers, all Air Force men, made the last stage of its flight' from Batavia. The pilot was Squadron-Leader A. H. Harding, of Wellington, and the navigator, Flight-Lieutenant Peter Ross, of Auckland. The aircraft left Auckland on September 15.
