HARBOUR MISHAP: LAUTOKA’S ANCHOR LOCATED BY DIVER

AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.).— The steamer Lautoka’s starboard anchor and 80 fathoms of chain, which parted' when the Union Company’s freighter Kurow collided with her on Monday afternoon, were located today by the Harbour Board diver. They will be salvaged by barge and crane at slack water tomorrow. When the Collision occurred the Kurow was moving from one wharf to another, while the Lautoka was moored in the* stream. Repairs to the Kurow’s superstructure, estimated to cost £4OO or £5OO, were started today. i The damage to the Lautoka’s bow has not yet been surveyed, but is believed to be very slight.
