Last-minute Temporary Reprieve For Murderers
KARACHI, August 2 (Rec. 1 p.m.).—Three minutes before two Pathan tribesmen were due to , be hanged in the Central Gaol yesterday, an order arrived allowing them to appeal to the 'Privy Council in London.
The two men, who had been sentenced for murder, were being escorted to the gallows when the order arrived.
