King To Have Operation In Next Few Days

LONDON, March 10.

The King, following the announcement of his impending operation, spent a quiet day at Buckingham Palace yesterday. He remained at the palace throughout the day, working at his desk,,and receiving visitors. There has been no official announcement, so far, about the date of the, operation, but, according to the Daily Telegraph, it will take place within the. next few days, and will be performed in the palace. No further bulletin about the King is expected until after the operation.
