ANOTHER GOOD BAG OF BROWN TROUT FROM LAKE BRUNNER

For the second week-end in succession, two Greymouth anglers, Messrs H. C. Hill and W. Berry, have returned from Lake Brunner with a limit bag of brown trout, a total of 401 b weight of fish to the two rods. Fishing from a power boat on the lake yesterday, Messrs Hill and Berry landed 21 trout, of a total weight of just on 401 b. The majority of the fish were very even in size and condition, the largest weighing 31b.

The leader in the Milner-Benning-ton Shield competition, for the largest trout caught in the Grey district, has been taken by Mr H. Kear, of Alexander terrace, Greymouth, who last evening landed a fine brown trout, weighing 71b 10 ounces, from the Grey River.
