SYDNEY TEAM IN FORM AT AUCKLAND

(PA) AUCKLAND, October 10. the champion Sydney Rugby League team. Western Suburbs, scored its first win after three defeats in Auckland on Saturday, when it beat the Auckland club champions, Marist, by 19 points to 15. Each side scored three tries, but the decisive factor was the fine goal-kicking of the Western Suburbs full-back, W. Keato. The game was played in a splendid spirit, and there was a pleasing absence of the illegal tactics which had marred the earlier games. The scorers for Western Suburbs were Holman (2) and E. Bennett, who' scored tries, and Keato, who converted two tries and kicked three penalty goals. P. Kirwan, J. Fisher, and J. Edwards scored tries for Marist. Two tries were converted by M. Brockliss, who also kicked a penalty, goal.
