MOVE TO CRUSH OPPOSITION IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA
(Reed. 11 a.m.) PRAGUE, Oct. 7.
The Czechoslovakian trade union newspaper, Brace, said a Bratislava committee had sent 784 people to forced labour Camps lor terms totalling 764 years between May and September for black-marketing, sabotage and subversion.
Jaroslav Kokes, Czech Communist judge, commenting on the new defence law, said: “Let this be a Weapon to crush and destroy the last bastions of the republic’s enemies.”
