SCOUT JAMBOREE IN AUSTRALIA: TWO COASTERS CHOSEN

Two West Coast Scouts, one from Cobden and the other from Hokitika, have been selected to represent the province in the New Zealand Scout contingent to attend the Pan-Pacific Jamboree in Australia at the end of this year. The Scouts are Gordon Robinson, of Cobden, and Ying Louis, of Hokitika.

The two were selected by the Dominion executive from seven nominated by the West Coast group. The West Coast, which includes the Grey Buller and Hokitika districts, was allocated two representatives in the contingent. The Jamboree will be held from December 29 to January 9 at Yarra Brae, Wonga Park, which is near Melbourne.
