Labour Party Social

The first Labour Party social promoted by the Westland L.R.C. drew a large attendance to the Ngahere Hall on Saturday evening. Mr T. Furlong for' the Ngahere Branch, welcomed the visitors. During the evening a debate was held between the Greymouth and Runanga branches. The judge Mr J. B. Kent M.P., gave the decision m favour of Runanga. Mr Kent and Mr W. Green, president of the. Westland L.R.C., addressed the gatheringMembers of the Greymouth, Runanga, Brunner, Ngahere, and Blackball branches attended.
