Twelve of the 13 occupants of a DC4 airliner were killed last night when it crashed soon after taking off for Miami. The aircraft carried nine passengers and a crew of four. The only survivor was a woman, who is seriously ill. The airliner took off in snow flurries and then crashed and burst into flames in the nearby prairie.—Chicago,' March 11.
