OBITUARY Mrs. Althea Conaghan
The death occurred suddenly at Greymouth last evening of Mrs. Althea Rose Conaghan, of Alexander street, aged 46. She had beeh in indifferent health for some time. Mrs. Conaghan was born at Lyell and had resided in Greymouth for the past 26 years. She js survived by her husband, Mr. James Conaghan, five sons, Patrick, Raymond, Peter, Anthony, and James, and two daughters, Kathleen and Marie, all of Greymouth; also two brothers, Messrs. Cornelius and John Mangos (Lyell), and four sisters, Sister M. Madeline (Melbourne), Mrs. C. Turnbull (Timaru), and Misses A. Mangos (Dannevirke) and B. Mangos (Timaru). The funeral will take place at Karoro cemetery to-morrow morning. The funeral of Mrs Mary Garvey, of Runanga, took place this morning at Karoro cemetery. The Rev. Father P. Foley conducted the services at the Sacred Heart Church and at the graveside.
