LIST OF ENTRIES. WELLINGTON, December 11. Nominations for the 1946 brass bands championship at Christchurch from March 17 to March 23, are as follow: — A grade (10 bands): St. Kilda Municipal, Hamilton Citizens, Invercargill Civic, Wellington Waterside, Queen Alexandra (Wanganui), Wanganui Garrison, Woolston, Wellington Municipal Tramways, Palmerston North Garrison' and. Kaikorai. B grade (17 bands): Gore Municipal, Auckland Waterside, Green Island Municipal, Westport Municipal, Christchurch Municipal, Nelson Garrison, Oamaru Garrison, Lower’ Hutt Civic, Hawera Municipal, Blenheim Regimental, Taranaki Regimental & New Plymouth Municipal, Motueka Municipal, Ashburton Silver, Palmerston North City Silver, Masterton Municipal, Lower Hutt Municipal, Wellington Boys’ Institute Silver. C grade (10 bands): Auckland •W-aterside Silver Juniors, Rangiora Brass, Crichton Cobbers, Toe H (Christchurch), Lyttelton Marine, Dunedin Ladies’ Brass, Wellington Boys’ Institute Juniors, Temuka Municipal, Brunner Brass (West Coast), Caversham Citizens (Dunedin), Patea Municipal. The adjudicator will be E. P. Kerry, of Sydney, assisted by Thomas. Goodall, Wellington.
