Mr. G. M. Keys, Vocational Guidance Officer, Christchurch, visited Greymouth, to-day, when he addressed the Rotary Club.
Mr L. A. Haynes, of Christchurch, a member of the executive of the Post and Telegraph Employees’ Association and Officers’ Guild, will represent it at the annual reunion of the Greymouth section.

The High Commissioner (Mr Jordan) advises that the King has been pleased to approve of the award of the Albert Medal (bronze) to Stoker (first class) William Donald Dale, of Timaru, and Mention in Despatches to Stoker (first class) Ernest Valentine, of Wanganui, for gallantry in saving life when a serious explosion took place in June. —P.A.
