Misses M. Roberts and J. Seckup (Dunedin) are the guests of Mrs. Elgin. Miss Doris French has joined the Radio Location Department of the R.N.Z.A.F. She is the first Waiuta girl to join that branch of the Services. Before leaving she was met by her friends and ’ presented with an envelope. Mrs. Th.orn, who has been visiting Greymouth, has returned. Mr. P. Corcoran was admitted to the Reefton Hospital yesterday, with severe injuries to the left foot, caused by a fall of nearly 20 feet while at work at the mine. Mrs. D. East is the guest of Mrs. V. Lethwick.

Mr. IV. Hempseed is an inmate, of the Reefton Hospital, with severe injury to the hand, sustained while using a screw driver.
